In plain English

Crello does not tolerate slavery, forced labour or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. We are a small business and we choose our suppliers carefully. If you have a concern, tell us.

This summary is a guide only. The full policy below is what applies.

1Our commitment

  1. 1.1

    Crello is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships. We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain.

  2. 1.2

    This statement is made under the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are a small business and do not meet the turnover threshold that requires a formal annual statement, but we think it is right to set out our position.

2Our business and supply chain

  1. 2.1

    We provide web design and related digital services from the UK. Our supply chain is short. It is mostly software and technology providers, hosting and delivery networks, payment providers, design tools and specialist freelancers or subcontractors.

  2. 2.2

    We consider the risk of modern slavery in our business to be low, but we do not take that for granted.

3What we do

  1. 3.1

    To help prevent modern slavery, we:

    • choose suppliers and partners that are established and reputable;
    • pay our suppliers and subcontractors fairly and on time;
    • expect everyone who works with us to treat people with dignity and to follow the law on pay, working hours and conditions;
    • will stop working with any supplier that we find is involved in slavery or trafficking;
    • make sure that anyone who works for us knows how to raise a concern.

4Raising a concern

  1. 4.1

    If you have a concern about modern slavery connected with Crello, our suppliers or our partners, please email support@crello.co.uk. We will treat it seriously, look into it promptly and keep your report confidential as far as we can.

  2. 4.2

    If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. You can also contact the Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline on 0800 0121 700.

5Review

  1. 5.1

    We review this statement each year, and when our business changes in a way that affects it. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
